  Customer service is very poor; in all Harvey Norman stores I've been to, save for the odd nice salesperson. The only thing good about Harvey Norman is that they sell the things that JB Hi-Fi have sold out of that you can't get anywhere else. They can sometimes price match, but the personalities of the salespeople can really take the fun out of purchasing from them.

  Poor customer service experience. Went to get a deal, unfortunately the deal has expired but the rep tried to sell me something else without informing the deal was off, till the last minute when I insisted about the deal. Bit shady.

  Decent range, although the 'sales' mean nothing (the prices were the same as the regular ticket price!).

  Service is pretty shocking, too. These guys haven't adjusted to a competitive retail market - you can't sit behind the desk ignoring customers instead of being out on the floor making an effort when people can go online and buy things at the price they're actually worth.

  Bought a dining table today. Was greeted kindly by Raj who showed me everything suitable to my needs and within my price range. He found me something that was in stock and was able to do a great deal. It’s nice when you are helped by a sales assistant who is not aggressive in their sales pitch. Thanks Raj! Would have given 5 stars but it seems Harvey Norman don’t have a great range in stock and waits from suppliers are quite long.

  I went to the secret sale on the weekend, and the sale price for an item was $64 MORE expensive than their everyday online price. Check prices before assuming a sale is good, including their own website!!! The sale guy didn't even care and just put the ticket back on the item...
